
Chemical peels are most commonly sought out by individuals with wrinkly, unevenly pigmented, or sun damaged facial skin. It may also remove pre-cancerous growths and soften acne scars. A chemical peel may be performed with a face lift; however, it is not a substitute for such surgery.
